OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Fondation YNJ: Scholarship Program for Children in Haiti

Fondation YNJ is committed to empowering and uplifting children in Haiti by providing access to quality education and fostering a brighter future for them. We are pleased to announce our Scholarship Program, aimed at supporting talented and deserving students in pursuing their educational aspirations.

Program Overview: Our Scholarship Program aims to provide financial assistance to children in Haiti, enabling them to access educational opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach. We firmly believe that education is a key catalyst for positive change and socio-economic development in Haiti. Through this program, we strive to unlock the potential within each child and create a pathway to a brighter future.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Residency: Applicants must be residents of Haiti.

  2. Academic Performance: Students must demonstrate a strong academic record and commitment to their studies.

  3. Financial Need: The scholarship is primarily intended for students from low-income backgrounds who lack the financial means to pursue education.

  4. Age Range: The program is open to students within a specific age range, typically 3-21.

 

Scholarship Benefits:

Selected scholarship recipients will receive financial support that covers various educational expenses, including but not limited to:

  • Tuition fees

  • Books and educational materials

  • Uniforms or necessary clothing

  • Transportation costs

  • Other educational essentials

Application Process:

  1. Announcement: The call for scholarship applications will be announced through various channels, including local schools, community centers, and our organization's website.

  2. Application Submission: Interested students will need to complete the scholarship application form, which can be obtained from upon request.

  3. Documentation: Along with the application form, students will be required to submit supporting documents such as academic records, recommendation letters, and proof of financial need.

  4. Selection Process: A dedicated scholarship committee will carefully review and assess all applications based on the eligibility criteria and merit. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview or additional evaluation, if necessary.

  5. Scholarship Award: The selected students will be notified of their scholarship award, and arrangements will be made for the disbursement of funds and any necessary logistical support.
